To introduce you to sailing and our association, we’re organizing an open sailing weekend 😁. It’s also open to people who aren’t yet members of Boreas.
Whether you’ve never sailed before or you’re a seasoned offshore sailor, this sailing weekend is sure to be one you’ll never forget 👌😎!
On Friday evening, we’ll depart from Eindhoven Central by train 🚂. On Saturday, we’ll spend the day sailing ⛵ and enjoy lunch together in the afternoon.
In the evening, we’ll explore Friesland’s nightlife 💃🕺!
On Sunday, we’ll head back out on the water for another full day of sailing before returning to Eindhoven at the beginning of the evening.
E.S.Z.V. Boreas is the Eindhoven Student Sailing Association, founded in 1987. We are an active association, often on the water from March until October during association weekends or weekends with sister associations. In addition to weekends, E.S.Z.V. Boreas offers the opportunity for competitive sailing. Beyond sailing, onshore activities such as theory courses, theme nights, Christmas dinners, and day trips are regularly organized. You can find us every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesday for a drink at our beautiful boathouse on the Kanaaldijk. Whether you’re a novice sailor or an experienced one, everyone is welcome within Boreas!
